Shop Sales Associate (M/F)

Your main responsibilities:

To strengthen our hive, we are recruiting a "sales bee" to join the Bee Happy team.

  • Based in Cauterets, you will be responsible for running the shop (opening/closing, cash register, cleanliness)
  • You will welcome and advise customers on apitherapy
  • You will be responsible for properly managing stock and restocking our preparations
  • You will lead workshops (wax, gingerbread, honey extraction, apiary walks)
  • You will support communication efforts around the shop
  • You will contribute ideas for effective merchandising of our preparations

Profile:

Required qualities: energy, initiative, independence, attentiveness

Experience in sales / customer advising or shop management preferred

Knowledge of beekeeping and botany a plus

An affinity for nature

Available to work weekends and public holidays

Food Project Manager (M/F)

Job description

Reporting to the R&D Manager within the BeeInnovative process, the project manager is responsible for coordinating the development of food preparations at Abeilles Santé - Ballot-Flurin Apiculteurs.

They oversee this development, contributing from the design and drafting of specifications through to industrial-scale production and market-launch support. The main responsibilities associated with this role are as follows:

Your responsibilities

  • Contribute to technological and competitive monitoring depending on the project, in collaboration with the Bee Happy (Sales) process;
  • Contribute to project design and briefs, proposing ideas on formulation, ingredient selection, and innovative packaging, among other things;
  • Plan, manage, and oversee the development stages of a project according to the established process, communicating with all stakeholders to ensure milestones are met;
  • Carry out formulation trials (new preparations and/or reformulations) and organize tests (internal or external), such as water activity (Aw), microbiological and nutritional analyses, etc.;
  • Conduct research on claims/allegations relevant to the project being developed;
  • Monitor regulatory compliance as established by the Quality process;
  • Oversee industrial-scale production in collaboration with the Manufacturing process;
  • Provide technical support for bringing preparations to market (launch phases, technical questions from consumers, etc.).

Your profile

  • Bachelor's to Master's level degree (3-5 years of higher education) in food engineering, food science and technology and dietary supplements, or industrial pharmacy.
  • Knowledge of the science, technology, and engineering (manufacturing processes) of food and dietary supplements.
  • Significant experience of at least 2-3 years in formulating and developing dietary supplements, preferably certified organic, and in project management.
  • Strong command of natural ingredients, laboratory formulation techniques, and physicochemical analysis.
  • Knowledge of clinical studies / performance evaluation of dietary supplements is a plus

Your skills

  • Conducting laboratory trials in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Identifying the technical tests to be carried out (internally or externally) and analyzing the results
  • Conducting literature reviews and writing technical study reports
  • Researching allowable claims using EFSA, DGCCRF, and Synadiet databases
  • Project management, ensuring coordination across processes
