In the heart of our biodynamic apiary at Cambasque, perched above Cauterets in the Pyrenees, Catherine and Lionel harvest a truly unique honey. Produced through beekeeping that respects biodiversity and the rich Pyrenean flora, it offers an authentic and precious nectar.
The defining feature of Demeter-certified honey lies in the way the apiaries are managed. Because bees forage over a vast area, it is not possible to guarantee that they collect nectar primarily from biodynamically cultivated land. Instead, the Demeter certification reflects the biodynamic beekeeping practices used to care for the colonies and their environment.
